Dominus

Raced in partnership with Spendthrift Farm and George Bolton, Dominus was a versatile runner for us, winning graded stakes contests on multiple surfaces. In 2011, Dominus won the Grade 2 Dwyer Stakes on the dirt at Belmont Park, and the following year he took the Grade 2 Bernard Baruch Handicap over Saratoga’s turf. He also hit the board in the Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes and Grade 3 The Cliff’s Edge Derby Trial Stakes. Dominus retired to Spendthrift in 2013, and his first foals arrived in 2014.

Curlin

When we bought into a promising young runner named Curlin, hopes were high, but no one could have guessed the colt would go on to rewrite the history books. By the time he retired, Curlin had won the Breeders’ Cup Classic, Dubai World Cup, and Preakness Stakes, among many others, and set a new North American earnings record with more than $10.5 million to his credit. He was also named Horse of the Year in both 2007 and 2008. Curlin entered stud at Lane’s End Farm in 2009, and in his very first crop, he was represented by 2013 Belmont Stakes winner Palace Malice. In 2014, his son Ride on Curlin ran a gusty second in the Preakness Stakes.

Astrology

In 2010, Astrology broke his maiden in his second start, and in doing so defeated future grade 1 winners To Honor and Serve and Data Link. Two starts later, in his first attempt at graded stakes company, Astrology won the Grade 3 Iroquois Stakes at Churchill Downs. Astrology also hit the board in four other graded stakes contests including the Grade 1 Preakness Stakes, Grade 2 Jerome Stakes, Grade 2 Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes, and Grade 3 Sunland Derby. Our homebred, who was raced in partnership with George Bolton, retired to stud at Taylor Made for the 2013 season.

Kauai Katie

Kauai Katie has carried our silks into the winner’s circle on multiple occasions. The talented filly won her first three races, including the Grade 2 Adirondack Stakes at Saratoga and the Grade 2 Matron Stakes at Belmont Park in 2012. She then finished fourth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies. Kauai Katie returned as a 3-year-old to win the Grade 3 Old Hat Stakes and Grade 2 Forward Gal Stakes before finishing third in the Grade 1 Acorn Stakes. After being freshened at our training facility, she returned to racing in graded stakes company in 2014. Kauai Katie is a full sister to graded stakes winner Winding Way.

Dreaming of Julia

A decorated member of our racing stable, Dreaming of Julia was also broken and received her early training through us. She won the Grade 1 Frizette Stakes in 2012 before finishing third in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies. Her other graded stakes victory came in the Grade 2 Gulfstream Oaks, which she won by 21 ¾ lengths. Dreaming of Julia has also hit the board in the Grade 1 Mother Goose Stakes and Grade 2 Davona Dale Stakes. Named for Barbara Banke and the late Jess Jackson’s daughter, Julia Jackson, Dreaming of Julia is out of the multiple grade 1 winner Dream Rush.

Teen Pauline

Teen Pauline was broken and received her early lessons at our training facility before going on to become a graded stakes winner. Racing as a homebred for us, Teen Pauline’s biggest victory to date came in the Grade 2 Top Flight Handicap at Aqueduct in the spring of 2014. She has also won the Affectionately Stakes and Ladies Handicap. As a juvenile, Teen Pauline finished third in the Grade 1 Spinaway Stakes at Saratoga. She is out of the graded stakes-winning mare Effectual.

My Miss Aurelia

Champion My Miss Aurelia caught the eye of many during her undefeated juvenile season in 2011. Her victories included the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies, Grade 1 Frizette Stakes, and Grade 2 Adirondack Stakes, resulting in her winning the Eclipse Award for champion 2-year-old filly. The next year she added the Grade 1 Cotillion Stakes to her resume before running a gutsy second to fellow champion Royal Delta in the Breeders’ Cup Ladies’ Classic/Distaff. We race our homebred filly in partnership with George Bolton. My Miss Aurelia also was freshened at our training facility during her breaks from the track.
