Homebred graded stakes winner Terra Promessa launched her career with back-to-back wins in a maiden special and an allowance. Graduating to stakes company as a three-year-old, she earned her first black-type victory in the G3 Honeybee Stakes while opening up by more than six lengths on the field. Her second stakes victory of 2016 came in the G3 Fantasy Stakes. Returning as a four-year-old, she conquered the Pippin Stakes, G3 Bayakoa Stakes, G2 Azeri Stakes, and finished second in the G1 Apple Blossom as well as the G3 Shuvee Handicap. Terra Promessa retired in 2018 with 7 firsts in 16 starts and earnings of $920,350.

We bred Terra Promessa out of the multiple stakes winner Missile Bay, winner of the Mongo Queen and Xtra Heat Stakes. Missile Bay has also produced stakes-placed Mio Me, who finished third in the Ultrafleet Stakes at Santa Anita. Terra Promessa is by leading sire Curlin, sire of champion Good Magic and classic winners Palace Malice and Exaggerator.
