∽ Out of G1 Winner Hot Dixie Chick
Pauline’s Pearl earned her place in the starting gate of the 2021 Kentucky Oaks with a victory in the Fantasy Stakes (G3) and a runner-up finish in the Honeybee Stakes (G3). She finished behind fellow Stonestreet-bred Malathaat, with whom she shared a paddock as a foal. Pauline’s Pearl closed out her sophomore season with wins in the Charles Town Oaks (G3) and listed Zia Park Oaks.
At four, she launched her campaign with a win in the Houston Ladies Classic (G3) and returned to Churchill Downs a year after her Oaks appearance to capture the La Troienne Stakes (G1). At five, she defended her title in the 2023 Houston Ladies Classic (G3) and added a win in the Fleur de Lis Stakes (G2) before retiring with eight wins from twenty starts and earnings of $2,146,800.
She is out of Hot Dixie Chick, a track record setting Grade 1 winner who has produced four winners from four starters, including stakes winner Union Jackson and stakes-placed Marsalis.
Pauline’s Pearl is by Tapit, a perennial leading sire whose daughters have proven exceptional both on the racetrack and in the breeding shed. Tapit mares have produced ninety-eight stakes winners to date, including multiple graded stakes winners Cody’s Wish and Society.
